Mythological muses, ancient medals, labyrinthine designs: the iconic symbols of ancient Greece are making a comeback in today's jewellery through the creative interpretation of several contemporary brands. Hellenic tradition and its typical craftsmanship are precisely what has been drawn on to revive the charm of an era when jewellery was worn as a symbol of power, status, superstition or religion.

As in today’s latest creations by the third generation of the Tagliamonte family. The young designer, Giada Tagliamonte, uses glass pastes and hard stones carved and shaped with timeless subjects such as the Medusa, bringing back into vogue techniques deserving of appreciation due to the manual skill and craftsmanship involved.
